Why should I become a member?
Wakwakurna Kanyini members are our community’s voice, helping shape the work we do to improve the lives of Aboriginal children and families in South Australia.
As a member, you’ll be the first to provide feedback and input. You can also nominate and vote for regional representatives on the Wakwakurna Kanyini Council, which guides our strategy and appoints our Board of Directors.
Our strength is in our numbers—more members mean a stronger voice!
Am I eligible to be a member?
To be able to represent the voices and views of all South Australian Aboriginal children and families, we’re looking for members from all regions and communities. Â
How do I become a member?
To become a member, fill out either the individual or ACCO membership form and email it to operations@wakwakurnakanyini.org.auÂ

A person is eligible if:
- they are an Aboriginal person; and
- they support the purposes of our organisation.
Organisations
Organisations
An organisation is eligible if:
- it is an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation (ACCO) that provides services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families; and
- it supports the purposes of the Body.

Membership Fees
- Individual members are not required to pay a membership fee
- To become an ACCO Member of Wakwakurna Kanyini there is a once-off membership fee of $100.
